WILMINGTON — Lois Gail Hardee, 76, of Delco, NC went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2023. She was born in Wilmington, NC on September 16, 1947 to W.A. and Angie Hardee.
Her hobbies and interests included doing word searches, watching true crime, and game shows. She loved her daily talks with her sister, Martha, often several times a day about the same subject. She had an addiction to the Home Shopping Network and QVC. She devoted much of her time and energy as Nana to her grandchildren.
Ms. Hardee is survived by her children Beth Rivenbark, Jeremy Ganey (Lucie) and Wendy Miller; grandchildren Corey Huetcher, Cameron Rivenbark, Cole Rivenbark, Brittany Little, Garrett Little, Emma Ganey, and Sam Ganey;brother, Jerry Hardee and sister, Martha Register (Billy) along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. W.A. Hardee and brother, Rodney Hardee.
Family will receive those wishing to pay their respects at Wendy Miller’s home.
A funeral service will be held on Friday October 6 at Bridge of Life Community Church (2220 Mercantile Dr., Leland, NC 28451) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jerome Bullard officiating with a visitation immediately following the service. A private interment will follow the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
