Jerusha Faye Ramsay, 84

WILMINGTON — Judy was born on April 3, 1939 at James Walker Hospital in Wilmington NC, where she happily lived all of her life.

The most important thing to know about Judy was her love for God. There was always a friend or family member calling her to pray for them. She was always willing to talk to anyone about God and their relationship with Him.

The second most important thing was her love for her family. She was always there for her children. She was a mother, chauffeur, cheerleader, cook, maid, and anything else she had to be. She was also there for her grandchildren, whether it be going to ballgames, plays, chorus, or any number of activities she was thrown into.

She was part of a large and close-knit family that she loved dearly having many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her love for children led to her going into business with her sister, Barbara, opening Unique Tender Care where she helped love and raise so many and forming lifelong relationships with them.

The family will be receiving friends and family at 5:30 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church, 2501 N. College Rd, Tuesday, August 8 with the funeral starting at 6:30 p.m.
