WILMINGTON — Sandra Faye (Farmer) Dozier, 80, of Wilmington, NC passed away on July 18, 2023. She was born on January 21, 1943, in Wilmington, NC to the late Thomas Ray Farmer and Mamie Williford.
Sandra’s life was a testament to grace, elegance, and inner beauty. In 1965, she had the honor of representing North Carolina in the Miss USA Pageant, showcasing her poise and charm to the nation. Though she did not take home the crown, she left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
Throughout her life, Sandra was known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Dozier, as well as her parents and her dear sister, Joanne F. Deans. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Charles Farmer and Tommy Farmer, and her sister, Debbie Johnson.
Sandra will be remembered as a good sister and friend, always there to lend a listening ear or offer a comforting word. Her kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
