LELAND — Edward J. Barnes, age 77, of Leland, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Hazel Barnes of the home; children, Asia Hooper (John) and Lakisha Johnson both of Leland and Kendren Barnes of Connecticut; siblings, Junious Barnes (Carolyn) and Marvin Barnes both of Connecticut, Ron Mangum of Rocky Mount, John Mangum of Connecticut, William Long (Terrain) of Ohio, Juanita Harrell (James) and Deloris McNair (Odell) of Connecticut, Gwendolyn McCray of Rocky Mount and Sharon Snipes-Harrison of Connecticut, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
