WILMINGTON — We mournfully announce the passing of Anthony Robert Schnur, 47, of Wilmington, North Carolina. Tony passed away on the 13th of February 2023, after a hard-fought battle with Glioblastoma.
Tony was born to Anthony and Isabel, on 13th of October 1975 in Elyria, Ohio. Tony attended Elyria High School and went on to attend Cape Fear Community College, pursuing a degree in business marketing.
Tony’s biggest passion in life was his children, his career, and his music. An avid guitar player, he spent countless hours perfecting his craft, creating covers and original music. Tony created music for his own personal interests and to compliment his work at Neebs Gaming. When Tony wasn’t playing guitar, he could be found coaching his kids at soccer, playing golf with his mom, dad and sister, gaming with his friends and colleagues, watching football with his neighbors or playing with his beloved dogs Bear and Indy. Tony was a staunch supporter of the Carolina Panthers and fundraising for Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Tony is survived by his children Natalie (17) and Haley (13), his sister Christina and his mother and father, Isabel and Anthony.
