SOUTHPORT — Marian May Cooper Hallas, age 92, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023.
Mrs. Hallas was born April 29, 1930, daughter of the late John and Florence Cooper. She was a long-time member of Oak Island Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Hallas; her granddaughter, Lindsey Dyer; two great-grandsons; and a sister, Ruth Smith. Mrs. Hallas was preceded in death by her husband, William Hallas and twelve brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Cape Fear Memorial Park Cemetery.
