WILMINGTON — Yvonne Inez Pollard, age 73, of Wilmington, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023.
A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Pollard’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 719 Walnut St., Wilmington, NC 28401.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Rayford “Hamburger” Thompson.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her husband, James E. Pollard, Jr. of the home; daughters, Ronita Devane-Smith (Nicole) of Leland, Acquenetta “Sissy” Devane (Pete) of Raleigh and Benjetta Rexroad of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Chrisanne Thompson of Wilmington, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Pollard’s memory to New Hanover County Senior Resource Center, 2222 South College Road, Wilmington, NC 28403.
