WILMINGTON — Kenneth Bradford Old, Jr., was born on December 19, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He passed away surrounded by family at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare on November 26, 2022.
Ken was employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington District. After retiring, he enjoyed spending his time playing golf at Pine Valley Country Club for as long as his health allowed.
Ken is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Bradford Old, and his mother, Mildred Davis Old. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris, his sons Brad (wife Lisa) and Greg, and was known affectionately as “Pops” to his grandchildren: Lauren, Kara (husband Drew), Abby, Vaughn, and Bryce.
Ken fiercely loved his family, which included many beloved pets over the years. He was a great friend to many.
