WILMINGTON — Eileen Frances Wehinger, age 94 of Wilmington, North Carolina, sadly passed away on September the 18th of 2022 at her home in Lake Shore Commons.
Eileen was born in New York, New York on February 7, 1928 to the late George H. and Frances M. Wingender.
Eileen is survived by her daughters Edana Davis (Ted), Colleen Chapman (Charles), and Janeen Crawford, her son Edwin E. Wehinger, Jr. (Kimberly), as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, along with many other extended family members and friends who loved and will miss her. In addition to her parents, Eileen is predeceased by her husband George K. Emerson, her son George E. Wehinger, and her son in law Steve Crawford.
