LELAND — Liza J. Hooper, age 68, of Winston-Salem (formerly of Leland), passed away September 9, 2022.
Public viewing 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 South 5th Avenue in Wilmington.
A celebration of Ms. Hooper’s life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Hoopers’ Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 3627 Dogwood Road NE in Leland.
Interment will follow at Hoopers’ Cemetery.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Brian Hooper (Tylisha) of Leland, Calissa Hooper of Kernersville, Titus Williams, Jocelyn Hooper and Quinetta Keith (Julian) all of Winston-Salem; siblings, Worth D. Hooper, Jr. (Sunshine), Melvin Hooper (Diane), Andrew Hooper (Regina), Dean Hooper (Angela) all of Leland, and Virginia (Michael) of Wilmington; 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
