Brenda Carolyn Deas Fisher, 77

ROCKY POINT — Brenda Carolyn Deas Fisher, 77, of Rocky Point, NC passed away on August 28th, 2022. She was born in Lancaster, South Carolina on March 5th, 1945.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle Bates and Claude Deas, as well as her husband of 51 years, Wilbur Fisher. She is also preceded in death by her sisters Peggy Donnelly, Dorothy Logan, Evelyn Gainey, and Benny Deas, as well as her brother Ronnie Ayers.

Brenda attended Silver Lake Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC. She was a songwriter and band member who loved to sing and perform gospel and country music. She worked for most of her life as a Welder and Crane Operator.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Taylor (Kevin) of Maysville, NC and Teresa Fisher Willson (Scott) of Rocky Point, NC. As well as her sons Douglas Fisher (Kim) and Randy Fisher (Angie). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Lewis, Bridget Stroupe, Stephany Lewis, Amanda Fisher, Tristan Fisher, Cassidy Fisher, Michael Taylor, Dixie Taylor, Hailey Taylor, and Thomas Taylor; her great- grandchildren, Scarlett Stroupe, Riley Oberdorf, Isabelle Oberdorf, and Natalie Oberdorf; and her brother Claude Deas, “Jr.” She has many beloved nieces and nephews and her special longtime friends, Ricky Mintz, Connie Redmond, and Carolyn Castello.

A service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 10 at 12 p.m. at 71 8th Street, Maysville, NC 28555.
