WILMINGTON — Scott Alan Teague, 53, of Wilmington, passed away, Friday, July 15, 2022, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 4, 1968, in Wilmington, to Louis Alan Teague and Jo Anne Harrell Teague.
Scott had a love for the beach, surfing, motorcycles and animals. He attended Hoggard High School and graduated from Sanderson High School in Raleigh, NC in 1986.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Alan Teague.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Anne Harrelson (Clarence); sister, Deborah Teague Fizer (John); niece, Brianna Hatley; nephew, Britt Hatley; the love of his life, Laurie Horner and his beloved dog, Sperrow.
The family will receive visitors from 4-6pm, Monday, July 18, at Andrews Market Street Chapel.
A private graveside service will be held at Oakdale Cemetery, 520 N. 15th Street, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hanover County Humane Society or Honorbridge.org.
