WILMINGTON — Harry “Allen” Finberg, 74, of Wilmington, NC reached his heavenly home on July 8, 2022. Harry was born on December 17, 1947, to the late Jack and Mary Finberg in Wilmington, NC. He was an active and passionate member of Middle Sound Advent Christian Church. Allen spent 23 years with the local Coca-Cola plant and as the General Manager for Carolina Treet for another 21 years. Allen was affectionately known as “Beetle” by close friends and family. He enjoyed golfing, traveling with Janice in their RV and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Wayne Finberg. He is survived by his loving wife Janice; son, Scott Allen Finberg and his wife Jennifer of Wilson, NC; three grandchildren, Andrew Allen, Jackson Scott and Emilee Annette; siblings, Miriam Raynor “Mickey” and Thomas “Tommy” Joseph Finberg; two nieces, Amy Day Lockamy and husband Greg, Teresa R. Sutton “Terri” and husband Duane; three nephews, Michael T. Finberg and wife Denise, Eddie Ray Raynor and wife Missy, and Mark Finberg and many great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 2 pm in the mausoleum chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Middle Sound Advent Christian Church, 1621 Middle Sound Loop Rd, Wilmington, NC 28411.
