WILMINGTON — Sieglinde Waltraut Krisch Dover, 91, of Wilmington formally of Kings Mountain, NC died Sunday June 5, 2022 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Linda was born in Dresden, Germany of February 14, 1931 the daughter of the late Paul Gustar Adolph and Rosa Hinla Tiebel Krisch. She came to Ellis Island, NY in 1955 at the age of 24 to make a better life. She lived most of her American life in Kings Mountain and retired in 1994 as a Elementary School Secretary at the Beathware Elementary School. She eventually moved to Wilmington to be close to her daughter. She was preceded in death by a sister. She loved to feed the birds and animals.
Surviving are her daughter Amy Dover and her partner Juli Book of Southport.
A service will be planned in the near future in Kings Mountain.
