HAMPSTEAD — Patricia A, McCarron, 83, of Hampstead passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022. She was born on June 17, 1938, in Montreal, Canada the only child to the late Arthur and Anna McCarron.
Patricia worked for the Biology Department at the University of North Carolina Greensboro campus as an administrative assistant for 38 years. She enjoyed cross stitching, especially cats. Patricia was a wonderful cook who would be inspired by sharing a new recipe with those she loved.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Ed Ostroski; a daughter, Deborah Skinner of High Point, NC as well as her 2 furry friends Abby and Maggy.
A service for Patricia is being planned for May. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the UNCG Biology Department where a scholarship will be established in Patricia’s name.
