WILMINGTON — Julia Horrell Starn of Wilmington passed away on February 20, 2022. She was born December 14, 1939, in New Hanover County, NC, to the late Robert Sidney and Sarah Horrell. Julia was a registered nurse and spent many years tending to the residents of New Hanover County. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and of St Paul’s Episcopal Church.
In addition to her parents Julia was preceded in death by her brother, Rex Horrell. She is survived by her son, Neill Hines of Gibson, GA, daughter, Melissa Davis (Jeff) of Wrightsville Beach, NC, son, Kevin Starn (Debbie) of Barberton, OH and a son, Kirk Starn also of Barberton, OH; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
