WILMINGTON — Linbert P. Shaw, age 84, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
Public viewing 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
A celebration of Mr. Shaw’s life will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 2711 Princess Place Dr., Wilmington, NC 28405.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC 28412.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joan Holden.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his children, Sandra Brown (step-daughter) of Dacula, GA, Mauline Shaw of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Donna Shaw of Buford, GA, Debbie Miles (Jerome) of Wilmington, NC and Sydney Shaw (Melody) of Overland Park, Kansas; brothers, Reverend Ishmael Shaw (Kathy, PhD) of Spotsylvania, Virginia and Perceival “Percy” Shaw of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
