WILMINGTON — Barbara Jeanne Wiley entered her heavenly home on Monday, November 22nd, while resting peacefully at the Lower Cape Fear Life Care.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Henry Philip Wiley Jr; her two children Michael P. Wiley and daughter, Kelly M. Wiley; her sibling Ray Schaefer; her cousin, Eugene ‘EJ’ Schaefer; and many others who loved her as their own.
Barbara was a United States Army veteran who loved children, and worked in day care so that she could share that love. She also loved scrapbooking memories of her family and friends; knowing those books would last forever. Barbara loved to sing and just spending time with her family. The holidays were her favorite and she loved birthdays. Barbara never knew a stranger and wore her heart on her sleeve. Her love radiated the room when she walked in.
