WILMINGTON — Wanta Sheree Peele, age 46, of Wilmington, NC passed away early Saturday, September 18, 2021 from a motorcycle accident.
Wanta was an entrepreneur and owned her first business by the age of 27. She enjoyed meeting new people, exploring different cultures, socializing and recently became an avid motorcycle enthusiasts.
Wanta is survived by the two most beloved people in her life, her “Baby Duck” Ashtin Peele (daughter) and her “Monkey Butt” Skyla McDevitt (granddaughter), Mother – Susan Sandlin, Daddy – Jerry Sandlin, Father – Robbie Peele (Mary), Sister – Emila Peele-Clark (Jennifer), Brother – Joseph Sandlin, Nephews – Eric Peele, Kai Sandlin, Leojiro Sandlin, Niece – Logan Sandlin, and too many friends and family to mention. Wanta touched so many lives and will be remembered for her vibrant personality.

7:00 ‐ Release of candle kites
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 3pm – 5pm at Cadillac Ranch 2851 Maco Rd NE, Leland, NC 28451.
