Janeice B. Tindal, 75

SURF CITY — Janeice B. Tindal, 75, of Surf City, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021.  Jan spent most of her young life in Wilmington, NC.  She graduated from New Hanover High School and has maintained many friendships from that time in her life.  She graduated with a B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1971 and a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill in 1982.  Her legal career included roles as an Assistant District Attorney, in private practice, and as Chief District Court Judge; all serving in Rockingham County.

Jan was a long time member of the Reidsville Lions Club where she contributed her many talents and helped to bring the first Vision Van to North Carolina.  Jan was of the Methodist faith and a long-time member of Woodmont United Methodist Church in Reidsville, NC. Her love of the beach brought her back to Surf City in her retirement.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Austin James Baker, Sr. and John Dee Baker, her brother Austin James Baker, Jr. and daughter Briana Barrier. 

In addition to her husband, Jerry Bradmon, Jan is survived by her son Austin Tindal (partners Megan (Reece) Hardy and Kristina Price), stepdaughters Steffany McWaters (husband John) and Jenny Doyle (husband Anthony), grandchildren Alexander, Elijah, Tristan, Ethan, William, Olivia, Rhys, Gabryelle (partner Xavier), great-granddaughter Aviana, and a large extended, loving family. She will be greatly missed by many.
