WILMINGTON — Letha Bell Aman Brown, 95, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center.
She was born Sept. 14, 1925, in Sampson County, the daughter of the late Henry Spicer Aman and Bettie Sutton Aman. Also remembered is her husband, Robert James Brown (1987); and 19 brothers and sisters, all of whom preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, James Henry Brown, and his wife, Linda, of Wilmington, and William George Brown, and his wife, Athena of Castle Hayne.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17, at Andrews Mortuary Market Chapel with Pastor Ric Crocker and the Rev. Sam Hill officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. A private committal service for family will follow in Wilmington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested in Ms. Letha’s memory to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401; or the Alzheimer’s Association.
