OAK ISLAND — Daniel Lee Sutcliffe, 78, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021. Daniel was born Feb. 27, 1943, in Alliance, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Lena Sutcliffe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sutcliffe.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Michelle (Stonee) Boseman, of Belmont; great-granddaughter, Graci Boseman; and sisters, Alice, RuthAnn, and Kathy.
Daniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed working in his shop and spending time with his great-granddaughter. He will be missed deeply by his family.
