WILMINGTON — Malvin “Uncle Grumpy” Rooks, 82, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021. A lifetime resident of Wilmington, he was born June 1, 1939.
He was preceded in death by his parents, M.L. and Ann Rooks; and brother, David.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; and daughters, Ashleigh, Jessica and Whitney.
Malvin wished to be cremated with no formal services. A celebration of life will be held on a date to be announced.
