WILMINGTON — Michael “Mike B.” Best Jr., 40, departed Monday, June 14, 2021.
Mike B. was an avid collector of Star Wars, he loved music, wrestling and going thrift shopping. He was known for his enormous heart and the way that he connected with people.
Mike B. was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Howard Whiteted and Halen Howard; paternal grandparents, Sydney and Norma Best; and cousin, Robert Harris.
He is survived by his mother, Tina Best and Dale Vickers; father, Mike Best and Lisa Gallager, stepsister, Sara; beloved cat, Dennis; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel, 17730 Hwy. 17, Hampstead. The family encourages all who knew Mike B. to share memories and celebrate his life.
