Virginia ‘Ginger’ Manning Jackle

Virginia “Ginger” Manning Jackle, 77, passed away Monday, May 31, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dennis E. Jackle, Wellford L. Price Jr.; sister, Jeanne M. Bain; and parents, Charles W. and Ruby Card Manning.

Survivors include children, Jeffrey (Cheri) Price and Reid Price, David Jackle, Steve Jackle and Susan (Marty) Weishoff; grandchildren, Tanner (Brittany) Price, Aubrey Price, Rachel Schmidlin, Sophia Jackle, Savannah Jackle, Abigail Weishoff and Ethan Weishoff; and great-grandson, Jordan Price.

Ginger was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and active member of her church. She and her husband, Dennis, were members of the First United Methodist Church fellowship and were trained Stephen ministers, which allowed them to help others in times of need. Her faith in God was always present in her day-to-day life, helping her live a joyous life.

Ginger attended Campbell College, where she studied finance and would later go on to have successful careers in the banking and real estate industries.

There will be a celebration of life from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel, 1535 S. 41st St., Wilmington. Telephone: (910)791-9099. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
