William ‘Bill’ Miller, 73, remembered as a fun-loving instigator

SOUTHPORT — William “Bill” Miller, 73, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021.

Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and will always be remembered as a fun, loving instigator. He loved fishing, BBQs, nature, and his cowboy movies. Bill loved to play jokes on people and just make you laugh. He was a strong man with a heart of gold.

He is survived by his son, John Miller; two daughters, Kathy Miller and Suzanne Hoskinson; and dog, Roxy. He has six grandchildren, Michael Miller, Kevin Plale, Matthew Miller, Ryan Hoskinson, Cody Hunt and Sean Hunt; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Hunt and Lincoln Hunt. He is also survived by three sisters, Joan Reilly (late John Reilly), Anna Keeley (Gery Keeley) and Suzanne Tait (Harry Tait); and brother, George Miller (late Pat Miller). He is now celebrating with his late brothers, James Miller and Fredrick Miller (Kay Miller); sisters, Mary Martin and Marion Browne; and mom and dad.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 15, at the Sportsman’s Club, Carney’s Point, New Jersey.
