WILMINGTON — Kory Scott Parker, 34, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at home after a chronic illness. Born March 9, 1986, in Wilmington, he was the son of Keith and Susan Parker and Betsy Bishop and had attended Cape Fear Community High School.
Mr. Parker was employed with Coastal Glass & Hardware and P.T.’s Grill Porters Neck for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kourtney Caldwell, and her fiancé, Shane Terry; niece, Sophia Caldwell; grandparents, David and Margaret Bishop; aunt, Susan Simmons (Bill); great-uncle, Harry Newton (Sue); and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Kory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Judy Ross.
A private family gathering was held Friday, Feb. 19, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation.
