Ronnie William McKeithan, 68, owned and operated Stone Chimney Detail Shop

SUPPLY — Ronnie William McKeithan, 68, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Ronnie, born Jan. 12, 1952, was one of five boys born to the late William Dempsey and Ethel Avant McKeithan in Whiteville. Ronnie had been a member of the U.S. Army Reserve and was a retired welder with American Crane Company.

After retirement, he and his wife Rhonda began and operated the Stone Chimney Detail Shop. Ronnie was a very devout Christian and longtime member of the Supply Baptist Church, where he had served as Sunday school superintendent, member of the choir and taught Sunday school. Most recently, he was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church and had been a member of the choir.

Surviving are his loving wife, Rhonda Holden McKeithan; son, Kevin William McKeithan, and his wife, Jessica, of Bolton; daughter, Amanda McKeithan Richardson, and her husband, Daniel, of Ocean Isle Beach; brother, Jeffery McKeithan of Shallotte; grandchildren, Morgan, Brayden “Bray”, Milen McKeithan, Avery Richardson and Danielle “Dani” Richardson.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Clemmons officiating.
