LELAND — Blanchie L. Knox, 79, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Pamela Croft (Ronald) of Ashburn, Virginia, Charles Knox Jr. (Cleo) of Rocky Point, Kimela Dickerson (Michael) of North Chesterfield, Virginia, Angela Rascoe (Golden) of Winnabow, Christopher Knox of Leland and Cristina Knox and Lateisha Knox, both of Ellenwood, Georgia; siblings, Kenneth Beatty (Rose Mary) of Riegelwood, Lester Beatty of Durham, Alton Beatty (Sarah) and Nathan Beatty (Clara), both of Bolton, and Janie Rose Freeman of Lake Waccamaw; companion, Harold Shaw of Riegelwood; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. Visitation will be walk-through only with no gathering or lingering. A celebration of Ms. Knox’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home.
