ASH — Betty Wanda Nelson, 79, went to her heavenly home Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020.
She was a member of Emanuel Outreach Church. Betty enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds and taking care of her yard.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandma. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, David Nelson; daughters, Lisa Mills of Ash, Tanya Bellamy (Jason) of Calabash and Joy Blum (Jon) of Calabash; sisters, Ada Mae Ganus of Ash and Linda Allen of Conway; and grandchildren, Natasha Babson, Kristina and Ashley Brady, Noah and Jesse Bellamy and Kylee and Brayden Blum.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Whites Funeral and Cremation Service, Bolivia Chapel. Following the visitation, everyone will travel in procession to Smith Family Cemetery, Ash, for a graveside service with Pastor Donnie Jones officiating.
