ASH — Mrs. Gertha Lee Clarida, 86, formerly Longwood, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Little River, South Carolina.
In addition to her husband, Mr. Jack R. Percy Clarida, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Clardia; and grandson, Tyrone.
Mrs. Gertha Lee Clarida is survived by her daughters, Mary Daniels of Longwood and Rhonda Clarida and Gertha A. Clarida of the home; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A walk-through viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, at the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte Inc., 5190 Ocean Hwy. West, Shallotte. Graveside services for immediate family members and friends will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Mount Zion Cemetery, 7370 Mount Zion Church Road N.W., Longwood. Burial will immediately follow services.
