SUPPLY — Steven Reed “Steve” Knerr, 61, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, at his home while surrounded by his loving family.
Steve was born Dec. 20, 1958, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Mrs. Gloria J. Knerr of the home and the late Richard Aaron Knerr. Steve attended High School in State College, Pennsylvania, as well as Culinary School in Baltimore, Maryland.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lester F. and Dorothy Eveleigh Moon.
In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Kathryn M. “Moon” Knerr; two sisters, Lisa Knerr Jordan (Mark) of State College, Pennsylvania, Cindy M. Knerr Peterson (Nathaniel) of Gloucester, Virginia; three brothers-in-law, Michael Moon, Scott Moon and David Moon; sister-in-law, Leslie Bolyard; and several nieces and nephews.
To honor his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests, with gratitude, that donations be made in his name to Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church,1091 Hickman Road NW, Calabash, NC 28467.
