SOUTHPORT — Denise Marie Duncan, 61, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020. She was born Aug. 9, 1959. She was a strong Christian and a very loving woman.
Denise was a mom to anyone who needed one. She loved the beach, shopping, crafts and her family.
Denise was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas “Mike” Duncan; and first grandchild, Steven Mitchell Davis.
Denise is survived by her daughters, Wendy Duncan Davis, and her husband, Michael Davis, of Southport and Tammy Duncan of Liberty; grandchildren, Chrysta Davis (Jesus Mondragon), Alyssa Davis, Jacob Davis (Lori Liner) Lacie Grant and Stormy Grant. She also has family in her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, including her brother, David Beyer, with whom she spoke with everyday.
Dance in heaven with daddy now, mom; we love and miss you.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the support and love shown by so many.
A celebration of life service will be held from 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, at Spring Lake Park, Boiling Spring Lakes.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be sent to her daughter, Wendy Duncan Davis, 1820 E. Navaho Road, Southport, NC 28461.
