CALABASH — Hazel Inez Ward Gore, 88, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020.
Born March 15, 1932, in Brunswick County, she was a daughter of the late Needham Garfield Ward Sr. and Julia Lee Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gore.
Surviving are daughters, Rita K. Lee, Calabash and Judy Ann Gore Howard of Wilmington; son, Lanze Lee of Gore, Australia; and seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 16, at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
