SOUTHPORT — Mr. Wayne Anthony King, 38, of Oakview Drive, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020, at his residence.
Mr. Wayne Anthony King is survived by his mother, Ms. Betty Ann King of the home; four sisters, Tina Gardner of Shallotte, Stacey Holmes, Denesha Holmes and Mariah King of Southport; one brother, Wesley Hempstead Jr. of Leland; grandmother, Emma McCelellan of Southport; and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
A walk-through viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte Inc., 5190 Ocean Highway, Shallotte. Funeral services for the immediate family will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 4, at the Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home of Shallotte Inc. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Community Cemetery, Bolivia.
