Veronica Demundo, 92, created a household filled with love, support and plenty of Italian food

WILMINGTON — Veronica Demundo, 92, passed peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, July 28, 2020.

Born Aug. 31, 1927, Veronica was raised in Brooklyn, New York, with her seven siblings. At age 23, she married the love of her life, Anthony Demundo, and went on to have three children, Anna, Camille and Frank. She spent her adult life working as a seamstress, being a loving wife and raising her children in a household filled with love, support and lots of Italian food.

Veronica is survived by her husband, Anthony; daughter, Anna Love, and her husband, Al Kunze; daughter, Camille McKeon, and her husband, Steve; son, Frank Demundo, and his wife, Barbara; and six grandchildren, Chuck and Tony Love, Alex and Chase Demundo, Dani Pittman and Courtney McKeon; along with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Veronica’s life will be celebrated by family at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 30, at Sea Lawn Memorial Park, 17750 US-17, Hampstead.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
