SHALLOTTE — Shawn Francis Stancovich, 56, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at his home. Shawn was born March 9, 1963, in Bethesda, Maryland, son of Frank and Gloria Stancovich. After 30 years, he retired from IBEW Local 26 as a union electrician.
Survivors include his loving wife, Christine Stancovich of Shallotte; parents, Frank and Gloria Stancovich of Surfside Beach; children, Justin Kieffer, and his wife, Lyndsay, of Pennsylvania, Shelby Cinquegrani, and her husband, Frank, of Maryland, and Wade Stancovich of Maryland; sister, Jodi Bergere, and her husband, Brian, of Ohio; two grandchildren, Max and Kelsey Kieffer, and one granddaughter on the way; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Elaine Holmes of Florence; brother-in-law, Ken Holmes, and his wife, Denise, of Columbia; sister-in-law, Dianna Brosnan, and her husband, Pat, of Virginia; and many extended family members, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Lou Ellen White Memorial Chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte.
