SOUTHPORT — Ada M. Joyner, 92, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019.
Her love and memories will remain in the heart of her children, LaVerna Hargrove, Barbara Scott (Abraham) and Gloria Joyner, all of Southport; siblings, Albert Cowan (Desiree) of Morehead City, Wynona Dowell of Jacksonville and Charlene Wall (Andrew) of Havelock; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Ms. Joyner’s life will be conducted at noon, Saturday, Oct. 5, at First Baptist Church, 619 N. Lord St., Southport. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow services in Cape Fear Memorial Park.
