Betty Lou Harker, 71, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019. She was born Dec. 10, 1947, to Paul and Vera (Powell) Bass in Wilmington.
She is survived by her beloved husband, George Thomas Harker; sons, Tony Harker (Tonya), Michael Harker (Judy) and Aaron Harker; daughter, Regina Harker Robson; grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Ryan, Kailey, Ivey, Ashley and Justin; and sister, Paulette Long.
Betty loved to ride around in her “big truck” with “loud pipes.” Also, she loved working with her son and husband and talking to customers and friends about exhaust work at Aaron’s Custom Exhaust.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Wilmington Chapel.
