LELAND — Patsy Jean Sellars Duvall, 58, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019.

She was born Oct. 25, 1960, in Clinton. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd B. Sellars; sister, Elizabeth Culbreth of Fayetteville; brother, Franklyn Smith of Murray, Utah; and sister in-law June P. Strickland of Leland.

Patsy is survived by her husband Richard “Rick” Duvall Sr. of the home; mother, Betty Sellars of Leland; son, Richard Duvall Jr., and his wife, Shannon Duvall, of Leland; daughter, Amie Brown, and her husband, John “Chad” Brown of Leland; sister-in-law, Victoria Chandler, and her husband, Michael Chandler, of Ivanhoe; and eight grandchildren, Savannah, James, John, William, Mason, Brantley, Charlie and Mackenzie.

Patsy graduated from Wilmington Christian Academy. She volunteered with the Leland Rescue Squad and was one of the original employees of the Brunswick County Emergency Medical Services. Patsy enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 20, at Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Village Road Chapel.
