WILMINGTON — Margaret Ann Gill, 76, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019.
Mrs. Gill was born July 26, 1942, to the late Murray and Ruby Griggs. Margaret was foremost a born-again Christian who resides now with her son and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Margaret was a very special and great mother, wife and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, singing, music, bowling, and would say, “if you want to see me again, receive Christ.”
Survivors include her son, Marty Campo, and his wife, Teresa; two grandchildren, Christon Campo and Dale Campo; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Campo and Nathaniel Campo; four sisters, Edna Ruth, Christine, Pat and Geraldine; and two brothers, Murray Jr. and Tommy.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James Carl Gill Jr.; son, Marshall E. Campo Jr.; grandson, Daniel Dale Campo; brother, James Griggs; and sister, Evelyn Rice.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 17, at Sonrise Independent Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service in Cape Fear Memorial Park.
