SHALLOTTE — Patricia Ann Smithwick Leonard, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019. She was born in Horry County, South Carolina, a daughter of the late John Elbert Smithwick and Carrie Elizabeth Benton Smithwick.
She was a retired retail salesperson and a parishioner at St. Brendan The Navigator Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norwood Dale Leonard.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Ray Long of Shallotte; daughter, Mickie L. Corbonell of Key West, Florida; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 19, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte. Interment will be in Gurganus Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
