Conrad Keith Brown, 84, Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War

WILMINGTON — The Rev. Conrad Keith Brown, 84, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019. He was born June 8, 1934, in Chelyan, West Virginia, the son of Leonard and Raymah Carnifax Brown.

Together with his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances L. Casto Brown.

The Rev. Brown is survived by his son, Michael Keith Brown; grandchildren, Traci Ann Vanlew and Michael Keith Brown Jr.; and great-grandchildren, John Vanlew VI and Mollie Vanlew.

The Rev. Brown served his country with honor and distinction in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

A service to celebrate Reverend Brown’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 4, at the Wrightsboro United Methodist Church, 3300 N. Kerr Ave., Wilmington.

In recognition of the Rev. Brown’s honorable and faithful service to his country, the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard will render military honors.
