Jesse Lee Clark, 39, served his country as an Army combat medic

HAMPSTEAD — Jesse Lee Clark, 39, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2019. He was born in San Diego, California, to Gary Yates Clark and Sandra Lee Clark.

Jesse served eight years in the U.S. Army as a highly decorated combat medic.

Jesse was a proudly devoted husband to Valarie Clark; an incredible father to Gary, Jesse, Beauden and Ada Clark; son to Gary and Sandra Clark; and loyal comrade to those he selflessly served beside. Jesse’s legacy will continue to be carried out by his loving wife and four children.

The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel, 17730 Highway 17 North, Hampstead, with military honors at 4 p.m.

The family would like to say a special thanks to Walter Harbin, Rickey Wilkey, Colin Eddy, Pat Jones, Delray Rhodes. In his final words, “to my brothers in arms and best friends for life and thereafter, ‘The chair is against the wall and John has a long mustache. Oh, and lock it up!'”
