George William Cook Jr., 55, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at SECU Hospice House of Bolivia. He was born June 11, 1963, in Wilmington to father, the late George William Cook Sr. of Wilmington; and mother, the late late Edna Farr Cook of Wilmington.
He is survived by his sister, Deborah Cook Spann of Wilmington; daughter, Felicia Gayle Cook of Wilmington; and half-sister, Shannon D. Huddleston of Leland.
He worked as a millwright construction worker in Wilmington and drove a forklift for many years. His passion was hunting, fishing and 4×4s!
The family would like to thank everyone who took part in Billy’s care, including SECU Hospice House Of Bolivia and Coastal Cremations of Wilmington.
Memorial services and burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, on the grounds of the Cook and Robbin’s Cemetery NE, Blue Banks Loop Road NE, Leland. Following the burial, the family will meet at Sarah and Johnnie’s house, 3355 Blue Banks Loop Road, Leland.
