SUPPLY — Mary L. “Lynn” Jacobs, 33, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Lynn was born Aug. 28, 1985, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the daughter of Mary Jordan of the home and Lindy Jacobs of Tabor City.
She is also survived by a brother, Lee Jacobs of Tabor City; grandmother, Hallie Jacobs of Tabor City; canine companions, Miss Aallee and Precious Noel. Lynn was a faithful member of Seaside United Methodist Church of Sunset Beach, where she served in numerous capacities. She was a prayer warrior, choir member and a member of Special Friends, a disability ministry at Seaside United Methodist Church. She was the 1996 Miss Guideway in Columbus County and a March of Dimes Ambassador for Brunswick and Columbus counties and the Southeastern regional area.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Seaside United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mary Jane Wilson-Parsons officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
