
SUPPLY — Princess Pearl Robinson, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center. Mrs. Robinson was born July 2, 1937, in Horry County, South Carolina, the daughter of the late George C. and Ruby Watts Lockamy.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Robinson; great-grandson, Ryan Dilworth; and siblings, Estelle Varnam, Anna Ruth Harrison, David Lockamy and Johnny Lockamy.
She and her late husband owned and operated Robinson’s Oyster House for many years. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend and loved by all that knew her.
She is survived by her children, Roberta “Porky” Grissett, and her husband, Gary, and Gregory “Spooky” Robinson, all of Supply; grandchildren, Renee Dilworth (Frank) and Brandi Frye (David) of Supply, Sabrina Matuszewski (Eric) of Wilmington, Jamie Swaine (Erick) of Pittsboro and Alan Grissett (Darby) of Durham; great-grandchildren, Ashley Crocker (James), Megan Dilworth, Anthony Garcia, Gage Garcia, Christian Matuszewski, Aidan Swaine and Rylee Swaine; brother, George “Buddy” Lockamy of Bolivia; two sisters, Nellie Maultsby of Winnabow and Mary Greene of Candor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at New Life Christian Fellowship Church, Stone Chimney Road, with the Rev. Bobby Norton and the Rev. Gerald Kirby officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service at the church and other times from the home of Gary and Roberta Grissett.
