Barbara Crumpler Bryan, 77, employed with General Electric for many years

CASTLE HAYNE — Barbara Crumpler Bryan, 77, went to be with her heavenly savior Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018.

She was born Nov. 18, 1941, in Wilmington to the late Leo Willard Crumpler and Ida Virginia Wiggins. She raised two sons and worked at General Electric for many years.

After retiring from General Electric, she was excited to teach Sunday school for Wrightsboro Baptist Church and volunteer at the WBC CAMP. She enjoyed skiing, golfing, traveling, exercising, animals, and had season tickets to NCSU’s football games to see “Little George” play.

She loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her family, good food and good times.

Left to remember her are sons, George Bryan, and his wife, Lexanne, and Luke Bryan, and his wife, Lisa; brother, Robert Crumpler, and his wife, Louise; and grandchildren, George Lexton, Aaron Mark, and his fiancé, Carrie Talbert, Ian Luke and Alex Cain; nephew, Rob Crumpler, and his wife, Leslie; and great-niece, Laura Crumpler.

The family will see friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, at Wrightsboro Baptist Church, 2736 Castle Hayne Road, Wilmington. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tommy Bridges and Pastor Mike Lewis officiating. Burial will follow services in the Crumpler Family Cemetery, Watha.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WBC CAMP at Wrightsboro Baptist Church, 2736 Castle Hayne Road, Wilmington.
