HAMPSTEAD — Wanda “Marlene” Scott, 87, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
She was born July 12 1931, in Anniston, Alabama, to the late Marvin and Lovella Craft.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Scott; sister, Mary Combs; and brother, William Craft.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Tilly (Gene); grandchildren, Paul Tilly (Krissy), Melanie Beebe (Lee) and Cheryl Tilly; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Ryan, Braden, Kyla, Emma and Bechett; and brother, Charles Craft.
The family will receive visitors from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Andrews Market Street Chapel, 1617 Market St., Wilmington. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
