OCEAN ISLE BEACH — Elizabeth Roland Taylor, 76, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2018.
Born April 17, 1942, in Dillon County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Walter Roland and Kathleen Adams Roland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Kay Taylor; and a brother, Charles Roland.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Charles Taylor; brother, Thomas Roland of Floydale, South Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 9, at the River of Life Baptist Church, where she was a dedicated member, officiated by the Rev. Tom Gore and the Rev. Landis Lancaster. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in the Rowland Cemetery, Rowland. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
